GREEK ORTHODOX WEDDINGS
The Orthodox Church of St. Apostolos, gracefully perched at the very end of the outer Faliraki harbour wall, or Profitis Ilias Chapel built on a hill above the harbour can become the perfect setting for a traditional Orthodox wedding ceremony. One of the two people getting married must be a Greek Orthodox, while both must be baptised in the Christian faith. The ceremony is performed in Greek.
CIVIL WEDDING CEREMONIES
The civil wedding ceremony is conducted by the Mayor at Kallithea Thermal Springs in the Municipality of Rhodes, 9 km from the city of Rhodes. The certificate is legally binding around the world and has no connection to any religious faith. Please contact the hotel for further information.
